So today also happens to be national breast cancer awareness day... Over the past couple of weeks there have been a more and more fashion events and campaigns supporting this cause! Two more recent events include Fashion Fights Breast cance which was bought to you by an incredible tylist Emily Bathgate, This girl is incredibly talented and I cannot wait to see more of her work.. She had mentioned to me over Coffee that she had been plnaning this event for months and months and shes younger than me! I wish her all the best! Read more
here and see pictures from
Caties blog (she also catered this event) there was also and Glam rock held at the East end bar in Freo I managed to attend this event.. more on that to come.
Another way to help out is to purchase something from the amazing "
Fashion Targets Breast Cancer" Which was founded by Ralph Lauren.. An amazing selection is available from GHD hair straighteners, Seafolly swimwear and pieces by Cue and Metalicus!
But what I really want to talk about is Running Bare and Wahine's Breast Cancer campaign and how ridiculously incredible it is... It screams pink and 10% of all there online sales go to Breast Cancer Research and after checking out these shots... Why wouldnt you want to jump onboard an support a cause like this... And this means there are no more excuses for daggy gymwear, loungewear or swimwear, The shoot is o fun and playful I love what the team has done together... The stylist behind it all is the gorgeous Elisha Casagrande...
Elisha started out as an interior designer her eye for all things creative, beautiful and unique eventually lead to her starting her own blog... She ha an amazing way of putting things together, we both started our blog around the same time and kept in touch I cant wait what she comes up with next... But in the meantime check out her amazing personal styling for the Mimco -
An Unpredictable Revolution campaign, as well as her high
fashion shoot with the next Victoria Secret Model Ellie Gonalves...
Ellie was also the face for this Running Bare
campaign, She also happens to be the face of Veve Swimwear... Ellie is my age (jut 19) and she is so incredible inspiring and she is such a positive person.. the
interview Ellie had with Elisha in August opened my eyes to quite a few things and I still can't believe how amazing this girl is.. She'll be heading to LA next year to try and become the next Victoria Secret Model... I can definitely see big things for her I wish her all the best! Ellie also has a blog so keep up with all her model news
here!
Check out the campaign and be sure to jump on board for a great cause!
