It's no secret that I am secretly in love with just a few Australian fashion designers... Josh Goot, Garth Cook, Michael Lo Sordo and Mr Dion Lee take the cake! So it's no surprise that my heart is practically having a meltdown when I saw Dion Lee's Spring 2012 RTW collection hit the runway for London Fashion Week*.
Dion Lee pulled out of the MBFWA earlier this year and as a reflection it was definitely worth it, the RTW show was sleek and structured just like his collections from the past and the present! Lee's London debut consisted of 25 looks and majority of each looks definitely gave off an athletic vibe, sharp tailoring, incredible cut outs and a little bit of leather thrown in for good measure. Some of the dresses really are works of art, naturally they aren't within my reach unless I sell my soul, but these three dimensional dresses and suits really were something, however the classic pieces still left such an impact and I loved the 'neon' tangerine that broke up the black, white and nude colour theme. Here's my a few of my favourite looks if you'd like to check out the entire collection you can view it here
This man really is a genius!
*(when I say I saw the collection.. I mean it was sent straight to my email ha! If only I was really there!!)
