So as we all know, I’m a bit of a shopaholic, a little bit of a label lover and to be honest if I have money in my wallet I will spend iton beautiful, beautiful shiny new things. So when it comes to Op Shops... It’s unknown territory for me, but for the past couple of months I’ve been involved in a secret little side project where my wardrobe is accustoming itself to Op-shopped pieces...
Together 10 Perth Fashion Bloggers, Perth Fashion Festival & Lottery West have come together to bring you the 30 Days Of Restyle, which is basically as the title discloses, 30 days of restyled outfits... Yup 50% of it must be Op-shopped and over the next month I’ll be documenting each outfit, right here on the blog along with my usual content (August will be crazy busy) and you can check out how you can style your ownpieces with Items from charitable Op Shops, such as; Good Sammy’s, The Good Salvos, The Red Cross, Anglicare, Save The Children, Vinnies & Drug Arm WA... Thanks to Lottery West we were each given a budget to pick up as many amazing things we could from each Op Shop... I’m a little embarrassed to say but with my manager retail job I still have a bit of my budget left so I better get hunting!

I think it’s agreat opportunity to break out of my shell and perhaps to save a little bit of cash and most of all, this is a challenge for me and I actually can’t wait tosee what I come up with. In the meantime a few weeks ago the bloggers involved got together one fine Sunday to be involved in a campaign shoot for the 30 Days of Restyle where we got dolled up in Vintage, Retro & Op Shopped pieces for the day! It was an absolutely marvellous experience for me! The above photo is just one of many from the campaign!(how crazy is my hair? I love it!)
Check out the other bloggers involved I'm sure there are a few familiar faces you recognize!
